Taraco Fiasco (Buckskin Welsh Section D Stallion, 2005)
His name is designed to reflect the irony of the fact that he was everything I planned and wanted but he will always get into trouble if its possible! This is a superb buckskin colt combining the best of his sire and dam. His pedigree speaks for itself featuring back to back champions as ancestors and siblings. His sire is the multiple Supreme Champion Danaway Flash Jack (RWAS George Prince of Wales Cup Winner & Sup. Ch. of Show 2000, 3 times RWAS winner, Glanusk winner, multiple championship winner).
Flash Jack has sired numerous show winners including Royal Welsh winners, has stock exported across three continents (Europe, America and Africa) and is an absolute gentleman as well as a top show stallion and sire. His dam is the fantastic liver chestnut mare, Danaway Cherimarie, unshown to date this smashing mare is a half sister to multiple Supreme Champion and RWAS winning stallion Danaway Tango and she already has offspring exported to Ireland and Germany. He is a full brother to my own Danaway Fantasy and Taraco Fernando, full brother to Danaway Flashback (exported to Germany) and 3/4 brother to Grand National Champion Danaway Sunny (exported to the USA) and 1/2 brother to Danaway Riviera (exported to Ireland). Best of all he is a great colt to have around, has a fantastic temperament and combines action, conformation, quality and character in one package. Nearly sold to America as a foal, I thank my lucky stars every day that he stayed put!
Showing.... Fiasco was successfully shown as a yearling, and was practically unbeaten, including a massive win at the Royal of England Show. Unshown as a two year old, Fiasco returned to Justin Walters (Tyr Llawn Stud) in Wales to do a couple of shows as a 3 year old. Having been successfully shown under judges from some of the best studs in the UK including Cascob, Derwen, Abergavenney and Pentrefelin and beating some superb colts and fillies from studs such as Brynithon, Danaway and Abergavenney as a yearling Fiasco had alot to live up to. However, my nerves were misplaced and he started this season by continuing his winning ways! His first show of the season was 13 April at Southern Counties where he won the 2/3 year old colt class. Sadly he fractured his neck just weeks later and was paralysed - the start of a very long and difficult few years. However, in 2013 he made a come back - winning at his first show, going Supreme Champion Overall Welsh, Champion Welsh Section D, Bronze Medal winner and Reserve Overall Supreme Champion In-Hand.
Trevallion Enzo, Welsh Section D, Taraco Stud
This breathtaking colt is by the top stockgetter Trevallion Hooch who is by Trevallion Flash Jack and out of the Prince of Wales cup winning mare, and multiple Champion, Trevallion Giorgio. Hooch himself is a Royal Welsh winner and Glanusk winner, and is the sire of countless prizewinning offspring. Not just successful in the show ring, Hooch`s offspring are proving to be excellent sires as well - the likes of Trevallion Picasso producing countless prizewinning and sales topping foals. His dam is by another legend - Crugybar Mabon Mai - and out of the Royal Welsh winner and Champion Trevallion Gwyneth (also a reserve Overall Welsh Cob Champion at just 3 years old). I have long been a huge fan of the Trevallion bloodlines and jumped at the chance to bring this super colt back to Kent. He is half brother to the likes of Prince of Wales Cup winner Trevallion Rachael`s Miracle (by Trevallion Hooch), top stockgetter Trevallion Picasso, Danaway Hooch (champion stallion), Trevallion Temeraire (Glanusk winner) and Trevallion Rambling Rose (Supreme Champion). Lightly shown as a three year old colt, Enzo surpassed all expectations - winning 5 out of 6 shows, supreme championships, championships, youngstock championships, a bronze medal and a silver medal all at medal level WPCA or County level!
Welsh Section D Foals
Taraco Commando - Colt foal, by Trevallion Enzo out of Danaway Carolina by Trevallion Valentino
Was she or wasn`t she? It was always amazing watching Taraco Bonita (Bonnie) feeding two Trevallion Enzo babies all last Summer...... When catastrophe struck she was asked to adopt Taraco Diagio and she nurtured him alongside her own filly (also by Enzo) all year. I had covered her once immediately before she was asked to adopt so obviously I didn`t cover her again and took the decision to have no foals for 2018. Or so I thought. However, she has suddenly started to look suspiciously rotund..... So the question remains. Is she or isnt she in foal? In which case was she or wasn`t she feedling three Enzo babies all last summer?! Watch this space. See less
