Shire horses were once a very common sight in the capital but now they are now a dying breed. It`s hoped this important part of London`s heritage can be kept alive for future generations. `Operation Centaur` wants to see an increase in the number of working shire horses by creating roles for them to incentivise breeders. And as Sean Fletcher has been finding out shire horses can be more effective than modern day machinery.
