The Stables - Self Catering Holiday Accommodation - Oswestry - Shropshire
The Stables at Morton Farm is a self-catering holiday cottage - tucked away along quiet country lanes where the rural landscapes of Shropshire and Wales meet. Chester and Shrewsbury, both rich in history and architectural interest, are only a half hour`s drive by car. Oswestry is just 10 minutes away and there are plenty of shops and market days on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
We have four National Trust properties close by and they are well worth visiting.
The natural beauty of Llangollen and the Dee Valley are within easy reach as is the Severn Valley, Lake Vyrnwy and the stunning Llanrhaeadr Waterfall.
Explore the lanes or stroll along the canal side for good food and ale at the Navigation Inn, or Afternoon Tea at Canal Central where there is a shop, Post Office and Tea Room. There are many other country pubs in the area, where food is available. Have a glass of wine on the patio, enjoy the peace and tranquility and watch the sun set over the gorgeous views - Bliss!
