Ted Edgar was a renowned showjumper who made significant contributions to the sport. Born September 10, 1933, Edgar`s passion for showjumping led him to become one of the top showjumpers and trainers in the industry. Unfortunately, Ted Edgar passed away on December 30, 2018, at the age of 85

Throughout his career, Ted Edgar achieved numerous milestones. He rose to prominence in the 1950s, 60s, and 70s as a leading showjumping rider, capturing the King George V Gold Cup in 1969. One of his notable achievements was winning the leading Showjumper of the Year title twice, first in 1958 with the chestnut mare Jane Summers and again in 1969 aboard the horse Uncle Max.
