Sir Graditz
Sir Graditz is a truly exceptional example of British Trakehner sport horse breeding. With Andrew Davies Sir Graditz was an international grade A stallion with numerous wins, Sir Graditz is approved in Germany, Sir Graditz is out of the same dam as the notable jumper Suchard. Sir Graditz is a proven sire, among his succesful offspring is Godington Amulet.
Sir Graditz, one of the most successful, yet grossly overlooked show jumping stallions of the Trakehner breed, has passed away. The grey was initially approved in Neumünster and passed his 100 day test in Germany in 2001. He was a son of the formidable eventing stallion Inster Graditz (Bonito xx - Kassius) out of the exceptional producer Susi V by Cesar, best known as the dam of the Zangersheide approved show jumper Suchard. At his approval, Sir Graditz was spotted by Ingrid Christodoulou, one of the most successful owners of Trakehner show jumpers at the time.
Together with his long time rider Andrew Davies, the elegant Sir Graditz became of the UK`s most noted Grade A Show Jumpers and was also very successful in international competition. Ingrid Christodoulou` untimely death put a stop on a continued high profile breeding career for the stallion and so date, only a few offspring are out there - disastrous considering the exceptional pedigree and performance record of this Trakehner stallion.
