Sarento

Sarento is an exponent of the Sacramento Song xx-lineage. Sacramento Song xx is frequently found in dam`s lineages and, through his son Sandro Z, has also been influential in male lineages. Sarento`s sire Sacramento Son was a successful S-level jumper himself and is a direct descendant of Sacramento Song xx. Sacramento Son also earned a reputation as sire of the stallions Sacramento R and Sacrato. Sarento`s dam Damira I is a daughter of the world famous showjumping progenitor Ramiro Z, who produced numerous fine products such as Ratina Z, Rinnetou Z, Robin I Z, Rasputin, Raphael etc. Damira I is also dam of the Holstein licensed stallion Landucci (Landgraf I). In Sarento`s further background we find the mare R�uberin, a daughter of the showjumping progenitor Landgraf I out of the famous mare B�hne (Fokus II). The international showjumping horses Castor (Cor de la Bry�re) and Traco (Thuswin xx) and the stallion Ferdinand (Fernando) are all direct descendants from B�hne. She is also the granddam of the international showjumping stallion Come On (Cantus) ridden by Ralf Schneider and the showjumping horse Fleur Z (Romino) under Jos Lansink. In 1998 Sarento jumped the World Championships for young showjumping horses in the category of 5-yr-olds, in which he finished among the best 15 in the finals under Ulrich Kirchhoff.
