Just as the Grand Prix dressage horse Weltgeist (Weltmeyer), San Remo has been bred from the renowned ‘staats premie’ mare Valente (Volturno). The dam line goes back, via the dressage horse producers Havidoff (Clavecimbel), Ulft (Le Mexico) and Sultan (Marinier) to the mare Julia (Flaneur). We also know Julia as grandam to Debbie Schaffner’s well-known international show jumper Volan (Narco x Lector).
