Samantha Morrison Dressage Trainer, Shropshire / Staffordshire / Chester
Samantha Morrison has devoted herself to the training of dressage horses from a young age and understands the dressage is not just the education of the horse but the process of developing both horse and rider together and brings this approach to her teaching.
Samantha first began her competition career as a student with Diane Breeze who gave Samantha an excellent grounding showing her how to best produce horses for the dressage arena. While based with Dianne Breeze Samantha competed in FEI young rider competitions and took part in competitions up to and including prix st George.
Samantha took part in the dressage talent spotting competition winning her regional and making the final two years running, on both occasions Samantha was placed 4th in the final. She also participated in the British Dressage apprenticeship scheme that gave her the fantastic opportunity to be trained by some of the worlds elite dressage riders and trainers including Carl Hester, Ferdi Eilberg and Kalman De Jurenak amongst many others.
Samantha also has experience producing horses through the ranks her own horse she purchased as a 3 year old and is now competing at prix st george.

Samantha Morrison is a young up and coming dressage rider from Chester, born in 1985 Samantha Morrison started her dressage career working and training with the well respected dressage rider Diane Breeze, there she competed Diane`s old grand prix horse Ebe at prix st george as well as FEI young riders, at this time Samantha was also producing her own horse Ushi who she purchased as a 3 year old unbroken.
During this period Samantha was a successful young rider she was the regional talent spotting finalist 2006 & 2007 winning her regional rounds. and being placed 4th both years. Samantha Morrison was also member of the BYDS A squad team as well as completing her british dressage apprentership Samantha had the good fortune to train with many leading dressage riders and trainers including Carl Hester, Ferdi Eilberg, Kalman De Jurenak and many others from around the world.
In 2008 Samantha Morrison moved to High Offley Stud where she competes there dressage horses, as well as continuing the training of her own horse Ushi. 2008 also saw Samantha Morrison represent Great Britain in the under 25`s at Necarne, Ireland riding her own horse Ushi she won both the team gold as well as the individual event, High Offley Stud was also represented by another horse High Offley Sienna who was normally competed and trained by Samantha.
As well as a successful riding career Samantha also teaches around the west midlands as well as schooling horses mainly for dressage but she also help some successful showjumping riders and event riders with their flatwork.
