Sam Griffiths
Leading international event rider - Sam Griffiths. A native of Australia, Sam Griffiths made the decision to move to England in 1995 to make a career for himself in the UK as an International Event Rider where he could compete against the best in the world.
On his move to the UK, Sam Griffiths trained and worked as a back up rider for double Olympic gold medallist, Matt Ryan for three years, where he made the most of this fantastic opportunity to train and compete all levels of event horses. But Sam Griffiths had always wanted to make it on his own and in 2004 he left Matt`s base to establish his own team of horses.
Sam Griffiths team of horses has gone from strength to strength and in 2004 he was named as reserve for the Australian team for the Athens Olympics. Since then Sam Griffiths has ridden several horses to top 10 placings at Badminton, Burghley and Blenheim.
