About the Ranch
San Lorenzo Ranch provides boarding, lessons, and training for riders and competitors. The 52 acre Ranch is one of the most picturesque facilities in Sonoma County and is centrally located in the Western part of the County. It is `just around the bend` from Forestville in a sheltered valley surrounded by hills of lovely Oak, Eucalyptus, Madrone, and Redwood trees.
The owners (Antonio and Yvette Serrano) purchased the ranch in 2005. Antonio hails from Ecuador where he rode and successfully competed jumping horses since he was a boy. The Serranos take a personal interest in ranch activities and are typically working on the tractor or in the garden on weekends. The ranch is their pride and joy and, since purchasing it, they have been conducting massive renovations to expand and improve the boarding and riding facilities.
The ranch is managed by Janine Behrens and her husband Doug who provide 24/7 professional horse care. Having on-site management assures constant care and diligent maintenance of the ranch. Horse training and riding lessons are also provided by Janine.
One of the several ammenities of the Ranch is that it is near several county parks (Armstrong Woods, Ragel Ranch Park, and Austin Creek) with wonderful riding trails.
English, Western, and riders of all disciplines are welcome at the Ranch. For more information, please contact us, and setup a time for a visit.
