Rosehip has been known for its powerful, natural anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative properties for decades, but it is only in recent years that its value in the treatment of horses has been discovered.

Elite Equine 100% Organic Rosehip Supplement was introduced to the UK in 2019. The fruit from the rosa canina variety of rosehip is picked - by hand - high in the mountains of Lesotho (southern Africa), before being dried, ground up and packaged. While no additives or bulking agents are added, Elite Equine still retains a 1-year shelf life.

As organic joint support for active horses, assisting the horse`s own inflammatory process and being high in vitamin C, good results have been seen where swelling and heat in limbs are commonplace and good immune support is needed.

Clickety joints, hoof sensitivity and hoof abscesses, unhealthy gut and lifeless coats and manes also benefit from the daily dose of rosehip. Horses love the taste of our rosehips, so no problem there!

Feeding directions are fairly simple:

Once daily, added to their food.

During the suggested loading month: 10g per 100kg horse weight

Maintenance thereafter: 5g per 100kg horse weight
