Rio Grande

As one of the best Hunter / Jumpers in Canadian history, Rio has sired many top performance horses including Grand Prix winner Rio Rhapsody. He is known for producing some of the best hunters in North America such as Rio Bronco (AHSA Horse of the Year 2002) and Rio Renoir (National Horse Show Champion). Starting as a Dressage horse, Rio moved into the Hunter ring and eventually went on to compete as an International Show Jumper. His raw talent and successful offspring shot him into the USEF Hunter Sire`s Top 5 list for several years, and coined him the name `Performance Sire Extraordinaire`. He was even praised by Equestrian legend and accomplished Canadian Olympian Ian Millar.
