Ramzes
Ramzes is an importantant historical stallion, born in 1937 the name Ramzes can be found in the bloodlines of many top sport horses. Born in Poland Ramzes was sired by the successful racing stallion Rittersporn. Before WWII Ramzes was stabled in Poland but moved accross the border to Germany when the Russians were advancing on the Eastern front. After the war Ramzes would return over the border to be ridden by Lieutenant M. Bielecki together they would prove to be successful in competitions. Lieutenant M. Bielecki would later buy the stallion from the Polish goverment but after the communist took control of Poland he would migrate to America, and the stallion would end up standing at stud in Germany and be competed by Hans-Heinrich Brinkmann before an injury cut his career short in the show jumping arena.
Ramzes would produce many fantastic offspring, one of the most notable offspring is Raimond who is the sire of the great Ramiro Z who was awarded the stallion of the century for his countless international sport horses produced.
