Caetano - Cremello Lusitano Stallion
Lusitano Stallions of the Spanish Riding School
Sabia - 1998, Outstanding 16.3 hands gray Lusitano Stallion (PSL).
Sabia was imported from Coudelaria Allegria dos Pinhais, one of the top breeding farms in Brazil.
Sabia`s gentle temperament, sensitivity, intelligence and willingness make him easily trainable. His athleticism, balance, straight movement, impulsion, superb reach and suspension result in exceptional gaits (scoring 8 in medium trot). Sabia possesses a presence and elegance which has been noted by many who have seen him. Sabia talent has been demonstrated by his success during numerous competitions. During 2004, his first season showing, Sabia won 14 of his 15 first level classes, was high scoring amateur champion in several shows, and was the first level USDF Region 5 champion.
These attributes, along with his exceptional breeding, make Sabia the perfect choice for the dressage arena.
His sire, Ninfo, was Paul Caetano`s principal bullfighting horse in Portugal prior to his being imported to Brazil. Ninfo is now Haras Iannoni`s top breeding stallion. Ninfo is the son of the Andrade stallion Dragao who also sired Distinto (1996 best bullfighting horse) and Infante (1996 best debuting bullfighting horse). Ninfo`s ancestors include Principe VIII (the Coudelaria Andrade stud sire), Yacht (one of the breed`s best forefathers), Quieto (sire of Zique, Xique-Xique, and Visqueiro), Quieta, Jararaca, and Estribilho.
Sabia`s Dam, Opera do Top is a daughter of leading sire of champions and five time Grand International Champion Afiancado des Flandes. Afiancado`s blood lines are half Vega and half Andrade. Opera`s Dam is a daughter of Babel (Ortigao Costa breeding).
