Nino des Buissonnets is a showjumping phenomenon; along with his rider Steve Guerdat had great success and an impressive competition record, among his many victories is the individual gold medal at the London 2012 Olympics, four years later Steve Guerdat and Nino des Buissonnets would have another good showing at the Rio Olympics, narrowly missing out on a medal finishing in 4th place individually. Nino des Buissonnets won many other grand prix`s as well as coming second twice in the World Cup finals in 2012 and 2013,

Nino des Buissonnets was born in France in 2001 at Deroubaix farm, the bloodlines of Nino des Buissonnets includes some of the best available for French breeders. As a son of Kannan he has many other siblings that compete internationally these include Molly Malone, Quorida de, Diva II as well as Kavalier who is also competed by Steve Guerdat.
The mother of Nino des Buissonnets is Hermine Du Prelet who is a daughter of Narcos ii who competed with lots of success in grand prix`s with Eric Navet.
Steve Guerdat considered it long and hard but believes this exceptional jumping horse should finish his jumping career at the top.
Steve Guerdat will ride the sixteen year old gelding in the world cup qualifier in Geneva a class the pair have won twice. 8/11/2015 - Nino des Buissonnets, one of the top jumping horses of the last 5 years will be jumping his last rounds this December at the CHi Geneva.
