I can`t tell you how many times people have asked me how to do multi level marketing, also known as MLM or network marketing.Obviously, there are two main goals in multi level marketing:
1. Sell/Retail the network marketing products
2. Recruit new team members for your downline
Today, we`ll explore several different ways to recruit new team members into your business.
When you first join your Multi Level Marketing:
I`ve been in quite a few network marketing companies – I`m also familiar with many other companies out there. One thing is for sure – initially, the company will tell you to make a list of your friends and family and pretty much anybody in your warm market. Does the word “memory jogger” sound familiar? This is absolutely standard in most network marketing companies because it is one of the fastest ways to get new customers and team members.
But what happens when you run into a road-block? That`s when the major question of how to do multi level marketing comes up the most!
Maybe you`ve already written your list and followed the training provided by your company – the training that tells you how to approach your warm market. At this point, most people run out of people to talk to about their mlm business.
What do you do after you have run out of people to talk to?
After approaching your warm market, you have several other marketing options available to you. I`ll briefly explain three of these options to you – three ways to do multi level marketing:

Facebook Marketing for your network marketing business
Facebook is really hot right now for networking! You can either go for the paid option or the free option. For the paid option, you can build a Facebook fan page and then advertise on Facebook to get “likes” on your page. You can even add opt-in forms on your fan pages!
You can also take advantage of the fan pages even if you don`t do paid advertising - it is free to set up a fan page and to customize it with landing tabs/opt-in forms.
You can network for free on Facebook, too. You can meet other like-minded network marketers out there who are interested in the same thing as you are. However, you should not just spam your link everywhere – trying to sell something. The name of the game in Facebook is to offer value and make true connections. In addition to getting your name out there, you are building up a network of people who support one another along the way. There is a right and a wrong way to market on Facebook, and if you go about it the wrong way, Facebook can suspend some of your account activities.
Blogging to get multi level marketing leads
Blogging is huge in the online network marketing world! Basically, you learn how to set up your blog, you offer quality content, and attract leads to you. If you want to get into blogging, you should know that you are going to be branding yourself as a leader. Many times people may ask me, “How can I offer quality content when I`m not an expert?” Well, if this is the case, you educate yourself on the topics of MLM, online marketing, personal development…and so forth. As you are educating yourself, share your new-found knowledge in a blog post! This is a great way to get started!
With blogging, you have to learn how to drive traffic to your site. How do you do that? One way is to network on Facebook, another way is to rank high in the search engines, or you could also drive traffic from other online sources like article bases, video channels, and so forth. Which brings me to the last technique I will mention today, video marketing.
How video marketing can pull in leads
Smile – you`re on camera! Video marketing can surely bring in many leads for you – and there`s something personal about a video. You want people to know, like and trust you, right? What better way than video? Don`t you feel like you know someone better when you see them on video versus reading something they wrote? I know I do!
And the best part about video marketing is that it`s free, and you don`t have to be too technical to pull it off. And like I mentioned with the blogging method, you offer valuable information to your video audience. And the really awesome part about video marketing is that you can get ranked in Google with your video! YouTube is just one example of a video hosting site.
Which marketing option fits your personality?
You can choose to do only one type of marketing, or you can choose several options. I know one guy who is very successful online JUST from posting YouTube videos! He drove traffic to his blog from the videos. And there`s also this guy who makes six figures from blogging! As for Facebook, I`m involved with a team of women who primarily market their network marketing business on Facebook!
You have options – I have briefly touched upon several online techniques for you today. You may feel frustrated right now because you have run into a road-block in your network marketing business – you may have run out of people to talk to.
