Moss Farm Stud

Moss Farm is a privately owned stud run by James Askew and Shelley Cleave. Situated at the heart of a South Yorkshire country village our 17 acre farm is ideal for raising youngstock. As we are a full time arable farm with over 200 acres our horses graze on the best pasture and are fed on our best home grown haylage. We are also are very fortunate to have our own private equestrian facilities that enable us to raise and produce our horses from birth to competition.

We use the best bloodlines that Europe has to offer and believe in breeding quality not quantity. Primarily we aim to breed showjumpers but James very much likes to concentrate on the flat work from day 1, he is also very brave cross country so many of our horses have gone on to compete in all disciplines with success.

James is a freelance level 2 UKCC coach and is currently training to become a level 3. Should you be interested in training with James please do not hesitate to get in touch.
