Montreal
Competed by Jur Vrieling - VDL Montreal is an approved stallion with the KWPN studbook, sired by Indoctro out of the mare Zancara who is by the great Nimmerdor. Together with Jur Vrieling VDL Montreal competed in 1.60m with a great deal of success.
If the paternal line of Montreal VDL does not need any introduction, the maternal line has particularly distinguished itself in reproduction. Zancara was Dutch Reserve Champion and awarded the prestigious title "Keur preferent", having as many as three sons approved as stallions in Holland: Great Pleasure, Pessoa (Vitor Teixera) and Montreal VDL. Shoraya (Keur Preferent Prestatie) is the bearer of one of the best bloodlines, from which were generated important horses, such as Edminton, Aldato and Dehlia, to name a few. Zancara is also the mother of Bubalu VDL, silver at the London Olympics, with the Dutch team. Montreal after having particularly distinguished himself from the performance test, he was initiated to the sports career in Sweden by Jur Vrieling, with which it is reported in the circuit of the Nations Cup and in Grand Prix, until 2006. The first children were born in Sweden: they are horses of excellent nature to jump, structure and type that show the same ride of the father. Genetic index 153.
