Sweet Sound of Success for Margie Goldstein-Engle and Raggae
A win with Raggae was music to Margie Goldstein-Engle’s ears as she became the third American in as many classes to win at the Royal Horse Show. The leading money winner in the United States, Goldstein-Engle of Wellington, FL, put in a blistering round in the $25,000 George Weston International Accumulator. Gaining points with every fence successfully jumped, Goldstein-Engle and Raggae, an 11-year-old Holsteiner gelding, left all the jumps up, including the 20-point joker fence, to claim the maximum point total of 65 in a time of 44.11 seconds.
