RPM Quarter Horses - Located now in central Utah Our business began on the east coast with my fathers dreams of owning and operating a ranch that produced some of the nation’s best all-around performance horses. Realizing that dream produced several champions of the past and continued to bless us even with our move back to Utah. Our love for youth and good horses continues today with our stock and the more recent all-around prospects that you folks are now enjoying showing. Even though our retirement from the professional world has been missed we continue to raise, show and promote the idea of the ideal quarter horse and hope that one of our prospects will help you and your kids accomplish your dreams some day.

The satisfaction of breeding the best is seeing beautiful healthy babies hit the ground, which is all part of making our business fun. But, taking it to the next level and competing to win takes consistent hard work and years of knowledge. That is why our son, Joe Engle, is now in charge of fitting and training all of JMS Show Horses. You will find our blue and yellow colors at most all of the APHA shows on the California Circuit as well as neighboring States. We especially enjoy the opportunity to show in the highly competitive California Futurities. With class entries reaching into the 50`s it can be a very rewarding win! The APHA World Show has become one of the main highlights for us at JMS Show Horses. The honor of winning WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP is second to none! We were blessed with many titles so far in our lifetime and we understand the hard work and rarity of winning multiple titles with the same horse. That is why we felt inspired to sponsor The APHA World Show. "SCARLET PRINT AWARD". This is an award that we have donated in honor of our mare. It is one of the highest prestigious awards that is given at the APHA World Show every year. Stephanie EngleStephanie Engle attended my first World Show in 1989 competing in Walk-Trot and received 3rd overall with Popa Smurf. In 1990 I won World Champion Western Riding 13 and under at the age of 9 years old. In 1991 and 1992 I won Reserve World Champion Western Riding 13 and under. All titles won on Popa Smurf. In 1999 Stephanie won Reserve World Champion Western Riding 14-18 and 2000 Stephanie won World Champion Amateur Western Riding both titles won on Strutters Impress. With both Popa Smurf and Strutters Impress I won a variety of awards for the state of California, I had excellent show careers with both horses.Stephanie moved to San Diego in the fall of 2000 to attend San Diego State University to receive my Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I graduated from Nursing School in December 2004. Stephanie will reside in San Diego working as a Registered Nurse and eventually working in the operating room as a First Assistant. While living in San Diego I still attended the World Show each year and a couple California horse shows with my family, and have also shown a couple halter horses. Stephanie will begin to ride competitively again in a couple years. I have breed one of our best broodmares, Fashion Model, to Real Bonanza in hopes of getting my future All-Around horse. In the meantime Stephanie will show some halter horses. |
