Laudanum was a selle francais thoroughbred stallion competed by the young Pierre Durand, together Pierre and Laudanum won over 100,000 francs and was an excellent jumping stallion winning all types of classes from speed classes through to grand prix and even Puissance classes.

Laudanum is sired by the stallion Boran and has produced many outstanding progeny including stallion Oberon du Moulin (sire of Canute), Jonggor`s Ajonc (jumped internationally with Yves Houtackers) and BB Nithard (competed by Niklaus Schurtenberger) among many other excellent progeny.
