Kristi Nunnink

Born: June 28, 1961 Hometown: Auburn, CA :- Kristi Nunnink is one of the growing numbers of event riders on the West Coast that are becoming household names all across the US. Nunnink of Auburn, CA has been successful on West Coast for many years.

Nunnink enjoyed a very successful 2009 competition season, due in large part to the grey Holsteiner mare R-Star. Kristi and R-Star capped off their spring campaign by winning the CCI2* at Twin Rivers in April. Later in the year, the pair collected a third place finish at the CIC3*-W at Rebecca Farm and went onto finish fourth in the CIC3* at Twin Rivers in September.

R-Star finished off the 2009 season with a strong tenth place finish at a rain soaked Fair Hill in the CCI3*.

Nunnink also had a successful season with the Oldenburg gelding, Corner Street. They were second in the Advanced at The Summer Event at Woodside in August. Nunnink and Corner Street then went on to win the CCI2* at Galway Downs at the end of October.

In November, 2009 Nunnink and R-Star were named to the 2010 USEF Eventing High Performance Training List.
