Kenneth Eppers
Birthday: December 28, 1948 Residence: Crossroads, TX :- Ken Eppers has had a lifelong involvement with horses. He grew up around horses at Northern Pump Farm, a working cattle farm, his father ran.
In the 1960’s the sport of reining became Eppers’ main focus. He began to work for Dean Ames, they rode Gypsy Chips Cody and Tookies Two to AQHA Honor Roll titles.
In 1999, Ken won the Saddlesmith World Championship and NRHA Reserve World Championship on Skeets Peppy.
On Catomic, Eppers won the 2002 AQHA Reserve World Champion Jr. Reining title and the 2002 NRHA Derby Intermediate Open Championship.
All these success have helped Ken earn more than $225,000 in NRHA earnings.
Eppers has begun his 2010 campaign by placing ninth at the Cowboy Capitol.
Ken and his wife Nancy run Ken Eppers Performance Horses out of Krum, TX.
