Kelanne Stud, located in the beautiful Hampshire countryside; Kelanne is set in 70 acres of rolling pasture.
Owned and run by former Royal jockey Bill Smith, Kelanne Stud is one of the top equestrian establishments in the South East.
Thoroughbred stallion Alkaased currently stands at Kelanne.
By sire of sires Kingmambo. Alkaased won Gp.1 Japan cup and Gp.1 Grand Prix de Saint Cloud, winnings of £1,672,130. He has an extensive and successful pedigree and progeny and has currently sired over 230 winners of 571 races in just four seasons at stud in Japan. An outstanding winner to runner ratio.
The Show Jump stallion Silvano also stands at Kelanne Stud, frozen semen available.
Kelanne Stud has excellent facilities and provisions for any visiting and boarding mares. With 70 acres of post and rail paddocks for mares and their foals, as well as fully equipped foaling boxes with CCTV.
We also train Point to Pointers in the winter months, horses taken out of training for summer keep, yearlings broken and pre-training, and also Show Hunters during the summer.
