"Dev" is my 15.2 hand chestnut Morgan gelding. I purchased him as a stallion from Westwood Farm on June 2, 1997. I`d always wanted to have a horse as wonderful as Dev, but never thought it could be a reality. Sometimes I`m still a little surprised that he`s really mine. After having him for more than 5 years, I couldn`t imagine not having him around. He`s one of the coolest horses I have ever met, and I`m truly lucky to have him. I`m really looking forward to the 2003 show season.
Bred by the well known author Kathleen E. Woodiwiss (this is where he gets the "KEW" in his name), Dev was born on April 8, 1986. In July of 1989 he was purchased by Ernie & VeeAnn Wood of Westwood Farm. Truly a Morgan, Dev`s career has been very diverse. He`s been shown in Halter, Open & Classic Pleasure Driving, Classic Pleasure Saddle, Open & Amateur English Pleasure, Open & Amateur Western Pleasure, Trail and Costume. He made his debut as a Junior Exhibitor Western horse with Jill Eide this year. They look like they`re going to make an excellent team! He`s also sired some outstanding foals that have grown up to be amazing performance horses.
