Gitano MOR will be bred to Nobleza D for a 2007 bay, black, or grey foal
Nobleza D will be bred to National Champion bay/black stallion Gitano MOR in hopes for a 2007 foal. Nobleza herself is grey, but she has a bay dam and has produced a bay colt. Therefore, she has a 50/50 chance of producing either grey or another color when bred to a colored stallion (bay or black). We have not yet tested her for chestnut or black. She has a full sister that is black, so there is the possibility that she carries the gene to produce black. Gitano MOR has been genetically tested as EEAa. He does not carry the red gene and therefore cannot pass on chestnut, so the foal from this cross will NOT be chestnut (both parents must carry chestnut to produce chestnut). Gitano is a dark bay, but has the genetics that would allow him to produce black. I believe he also carries the "smutty" factor that darkens the bay to a deep rich, almost-black color. The result - this foal could be either silver grey or some version of bay or black.
COLT? The colt option from this cross is available. Prices depend upon color. All of Gitano`s foals are sold out every year and all his foals are very pretty and athletic. Grey colt - 12K. Bay or dark bay colt - 15K. Black colt (based on genetic test) - 18K. A $1,000 deposit reserves this colt for you, regardless of color. Note that during centuries Ibiza was a meeting point for the Saracen vessels which ravaged the Mediterranean Sea, protected by the Turkish squadron. It is during these times that the towers which surround the island and the aspect of fortress of the rural churches were built. Today, the Island of Ibiza is divided into five provinces: Eivissa the capital; Santa Eulària, Sant Antoni, Saint Joan and Sant. Josep.
