Jay Jay is the owner and resident trainer of Gloucester Downs Equestrian Park in Aldergrove British Columbia. She has competed and placed well at Spruce Meadows in the National and All Canada rings in the past and plans to head there again in the near future. Her students have competed and won at all venues from the Breed Shows to the schooling shows, PARC shows and A circuit in both Hunters and Show Jumpers.
Guest coaches and Clinics are part of the upcoming events at Gloucester Downs Equestrian Park. Jay Jay and her staff will attempt to bring you a full selection of equine related events throughout the year.
Handler`s Clinic - March 06, 2004 learn to handle your youngster for the breed shows and inspections Hawley Bennett Benefit Derby- May 22-23, 2004. Derby Competition Day at Gloucester Downs. Jump the Derby course: grob, water, liverpools, banks and more. We will have a class for everyone: long stirrup, short stirrup, total novice, adult amateur rider, first year, children riders or advanced equestrian professional. Set starting times and a maximum time for the ride will make it easy for everyone. Competitors will be timed first round, faults added to time. Enter early to be assured a place on the course... you will be notified of your starting time. Great prizes plus a FUN day for all. Hawley is short listed for the Olympics on her eventing horse Livingstone, and even jump riders can appreciate the dedication it takes to get there...Hawley lives close to Gloucester Downs.
