Juan Antonio Jimenez Cobo

Spanish dressage rider Juan Antonio Jimenez was born in Castro del Río on the 11th May 1959, he represented the Spanish national team at many events all around the world.

Career highlights of Juan Antonio Jimenez includes the 2004 olympics in Athens where he won a team silver medal riding Guizo, he also represented Spain at a world championships and two European championships.

Guizo


Guizo is a dressage stallion with an excellent performance record, riden by Juan Antonio Jimenez career highlights include team bronze medal at the world equestrian games in Jerez de la Frontera, team silver at the 2003 European championships, and team silver at the Athens olympics in 2004. Guizo is a Lusitano stallion sired by Zasebande out of Cataria (by Tivoli).

Guizo passed away in 2006 aged 18 and was a great loss to the Spanish dressage world.

Sunny Boy II


Born in 2004, Sunny Boy II is a grand prix level dressage horse ridden by Juan Antonio Jimenez in 20013, before then he was competed by María Brito Armas. Wins and placings for Sunny Boy II includes Florida, Compiègne, Madrid, Mallorca, Barcelona and many others. Sunny Boy II is a son of Stedinger (Sandro Hit) who managed to combine his competition career with that of a busy breeding schedule.

Piconero IV


A talented dressage horse riden internationally by Juan Antonio Jimenez all over the world, before being competed by Hungarian dressage rider Gyula Dallos and then later Eduardo Mellado Murga. Piconero IV was born in 1999 and is sired by Lotero II out of a Ultimado V mare Piconera X.

Elevado


A Hanoverian dressage stallion Elevado is a son of Falkenstern II out of the mare Wanda. Elevado has an excellent performance record, competed by Juan Antonio Jimenez who produced the horse through the international dressage ranks.
