Janika Sprunger
Janika Sprunger (* May 29 1987 ) is a Swiss jumper and the daughter of show jumping rider Hansueli Sprunger, from an equestrian family Janika grew up with horses.
Janika Sprunger began competing from a young age and one her first championships in junior and young rider classes and participated in the Junior and Young Rider European Championships of 2005 in part to 2008.
By 2009, Janika Sprunger was jumping for young riders (Juniors, Young Riders) successfully and awards include 2009, the European Youngster Cup championship test in Neuendorf .
In July 2009 Janika qualified for the Swiss Cup final for the top four in Ascona. In November 2009 she won the Grand Prix of CSI 2 * Herstal (Belgium), a first international success in the age group of riders.
For the first time in 2010 was Janika Sprunger for the Nations Cup team nominated and competed at the CSIO 5 * Nations Cup of Rome and Falsterbo. In 2011 she started the first time and multiple tests in the Global Champions Tour . That same year she started at the CSIO Switzerland in St. Gallen and the Swiss team finished 2nd place in the Nations Cup . At 5 * in San Patrignano they rode in July to 2nd place The Grand Prix in Stuttgart , she took 5th place
In July 2012 she was in Schaffhausen with Graciella II for the first time Swiss champion of the elite. She followed that by her father, the championship won a year earlier.
