At last there came a real dressage horse `Iliad` which I take the first steps in dressage taught turn. From level to level E7 HROV Juniors nationally. Iliad was an old warhorse and had a long career opzitten At 18 he retired and there was a successor `Equitano. Equitano had unfortunately a very stubborn character which matches no immediate prospect layers. My father and I went looking for an experienced and reliable horse to continue Juniors with driving. It was eventually Chiemsee which I several national victories in the Juniors. On my 19th it was time to take a step forward, and I drove Chiemsee Young Riders along. In the first selection race we achieved our international direct selection. We drove as many national and international competitions. Meanwhile Equitano also further trained and drove some young riders testing on a national level with it. This did not happen without a fight, since not every game Equitano equally liked. But I insisted, because this horse could give me such a nice feeling!
First I found a trainer where I felt good with my two horses. Around my 20th found Carmen De Bondt and I together! Start a fun and long lasting cooperation! At BK Young Riders in 2006 took Chiemsee battle inside and we were on the 3rd! With Equitano I was 4th on the BK 2006. In the same year won both Chiemsee as Equitano one Pikeur Trophy selection, which meant a ticket to the semifinals! In the semi-final was just Equitano 11th ... Unfortunately were only the first 10 combinations along to the final in Mechelen. It was especially Equitano I did a lot of international experience. The first international match was in Saumur where we were third in the Consolations Finals. Not bad for a first time! In preparation for Euro 2006, to Stadl Paura (Austria), we won bronze with the team. Equitano was in form! As a result, we were therefore the first reserve for the European Championship 2006. (To do my utmost respect for Carmen where I always can count!)
In the Seniors in the Small Tour (St. Georges Intermediate +) remained in good spirits and we drove many successful national and international competitions. So belonged Equitano and I to AA Talent Plan in 2007. This allowed us a ticket on hold to drag the CHIO Rotterdam. Very high level world as Anky Van Grunsven, Isabell Werth, Hans Peter Minderhout .... I could not breathe when entering! Ha ha ... But the end result is quite something: Equitano was 11th with 64.5%. The first 10 were through to the final. Again just not there! Chiemsee rode still only national competitions Light Tour along with good scores but was sold.
From 2008 I train with plenty Nicole Werner and succeed getting better with Equitano. In 2009 we were 4th in the finals Freestyle to Pompadour (France) and also best Belgian. In Hansbeke we were 10th in the final Freestyle. In addition, many places of honor at national competitions ... In 2010 we were 3rd in the Freestyle Inter 1 with 70.5% at the Winter Equiestrian Nights @ `t Azelhof. Also, 2010 was a successful year, weekly we achieved 1st, 2nd or 3rd place with around 70% in the inter-trial. In the Cup of Flanders, in `t Overdijk, we won the interior pilot and we were just 2nd in the St. Georges test, which resulted in not just the first place! On the Cup of Belgium 2010 we end up in the final Kur and ended at June 1 classified riders, with a 5th place and a percentage of 68.8%. 2011 started already very good: CDN QC stables 4th with 67.7% and CDN Zandhoven 2nd with 69.74% in the interior. After this season will Equitano unfortunately retire. He is 16 years and has won many competitions and training behind it, making a well deserved rest is a must.
Constand, 4 year old gelding, will be the successor of Equitano. This will obviously have a lot of training and time must pass before we can drive back light tour. With Constand (Vic x Jet Set) I take part in the 4-year cycle nationally. With Constand was it love at first sight. He also has some character, likes and learns quickly. He steals like the show and has a lot of talent to get there ...
I hope for more success in the future and a good relationship with my two trainers Nicole and Carmen! Women power ... ;-)

From a young age, 5 years, I got the horse bug deal and I learned my first pony ride with Mira, who I got to my feet. Soon, a second pony "Mitchie" in which I learned to ride at the riding school in our neighborhood. Every two weeks I was allowed to attend class ... For me that was unfortunately not enough, and the older I got the more I wanted to drive and the more horses there were. Mitchie had three foals, whose beauty was one. In Beauty I played horseball, did I jump camps and some jumping along. On my 12th I got my first horse Osaka.Osaka was unfortunately also a jumper! Until I was 16 I did the three disciplines, horse jumping ball and I found simply fun with friends among themselves, without thinking. But my heart and passion lay more in dressage riding ...At last there came a real dressage horse `Iliad` which I take the first steps in dressage taught turn.
