As a horse lover it`s common to want to work with horses as well as just be around them in your free time. There are so many different avenues you can take when it comes to working in the horse world, whether it`s being a professional rider, a riding instructor, stable aide, a veterinarian, a ferrier, a barn manager, working on stable PR, the list goes on.

Applying to jobs that are equestrian or horse-related is a bit different than applying to just regular 9-5 jobs like accountants or business analysts. You have to think a different way and apply in a different way. So how is it that you get the equestrian job of your dreams? There are a few ways.

Working with horses is of course about skill, but it`s also about passion. No one would go into this if they didn`t love it, and passion goes a long way in these jobs. Let your love of riding and horses come through in your application.
