Horses Gallop Onto I-70 In Eagle After Escaping Rodeo
Fire chief in Gypsum saw four runaway horses getting onto eastbound I 70 in Eagle County. The chief drove behind them for 3 miles helping to keep them safe before they could be wrangled up. Colorado State Patrol and Eagle police were able to shut down the interstate for safety and helped capture those horses. Good Samaritans then helped trailer them up and take them back to the fairgrounds where they had run away from. No horses or people were hurt during the chase.
