Hornet Rose

Hornet Rose is a son of the top-class sire Quidam de Revel. Quidam de Revel claimed many victories in the international showjumping ring, a highlight being the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, in which this Jalisco B-son won silver with the French team and a magnificent individual fourth place. Also in breeding Quidam de Revel is very successful and has developed into one of the best showjumping progenitors in the world. Bianca d`Amaury, Cirka Z and Guidam are some of his successful products in the international showjumping sport.

The dam of Hornet Rose, Gold Rose, is at least as unique. This Ibrahim-daughter has been very successful in the international showjumping ring herself, where she frequently represented the French team. After her sport period Gold Rose pursued a breeding career. By Grand Veneur she produced the in Sweden licensed stallion Turban Rose. No doubt her most successful product is Calvados. This Uriel-son is licensed by the KWPN and jumped at international level under Peter Geerink. In breeding circles Calvados is considered one of the better showjumping progenitors of the Netherlands. The famous international showjumping horse Royal Future is a son of Calvados. Jolie Rose (Hornet xx), granddam of Gold Rose, is also dam of the licensed French stallions Joly Jumper and Irmino.
