Highland Lad
Former four-star ride Highland Lad has died aged 22, after a successful career with William Fox-Pitt. Highland Lad was foaled in Ireland in 1993 and was bought from Goresbridge Sales in September 1997 by Carole and David Hudson.
He progressed to four-star with William, winning Burghley in 2002.
Highland Lad was originally competed and trained by Owen Moore before William Fox-Pitt began competing the Irish gelding in 2001
