The Half-Arabian breeding program crosses known Quarter horse bloodlines to our purebred stallions and Quarter horse stallions to our purebred mares. The Half-Arabians we produce have proven to be western pleasure and reining horse champions like Lord of the Dance, River of Dreams, Miss Alley Cat, and Miss Hesa Bar. We are using primarily Hollywood Jac and Colonel Freckles bloodlines on the Quarter horse side and *Muscat and Xenophonn bloodlines on the Arabian side. Quarter horse reining stallion CG Colonel Jac has been added to enhance the EAF Half-Arabian reining program.

When the farm goals were established, one criteria standard never compromised was Disposition. The stallions and mares, including the quarter horse mares (and any outside stallions used) all must have superb disposition. Whether a horse is destined to be a national champion or a trail horse for a Sunday ride, that nice, quiet disposition is a must at Eleanor`s Arabian Farm.
