Hartpury College
With a beautiful campus spread over 360 hectares, Hartpury College and University Centre has become one of the UK’s leading sports educational facilities.
Since 1997 Hartpury has been working in partnership with University Of West England and is currently working towards being able to award its own degrees for subjects taught, possibly from 2018 onwards.
Current subjects at Hartpury are sport and animal, animal and land studies and equine, with in excess of 1500 students all working to achieve foundation, honours and postgraduate degrees.
As well as Degrees Hartpury also offers A Levels and BTEC Diplomas to over 1600 students, and has facilities to coach in professional courses such as health and safety, first aid, equine studies, dog grooming, animal care, leadership and management and land based studies. Being the world’s largest equine education facility, Hartpury has hosted 3 international equine events, and has had success in many national titles such as golf, rowing, football, rugby and pentathlon.
