Harley VDL

Approved by: NRPS, AES - Lineage: Heartbreaker x Carthago x Caletto I x Locarno - A sire line that has three international jumping horses in a row. This line has already sired horses like: Toulon, Caya, Countess G, Cantus and Cartani. Dam Larthago won with M. van Asten at several 1.40 and 1.50 classes. Larthago is also mother of Cevin Z, who jumps in 1.50 classes and who is approved by the Studbook Zangersheide. A half sister of Harley`s dam has produced Caritano Z, who was the highest priced horse at the Fences auction and who is approved by studbook Zangersheide.

As a 3 year old stallion Harley became 3rd in the finals of the NRPS stallion show and was the highest placed stallion. He won his stallion test. The free jumping, jumping under saddle, character and workability were judged as `Very Good`. In 2006 he was the best young stallion of the NRPS Studbook because of his good breeding and performing results.

Harley is one of the better stallions of his year. He became 7th in the Dutch Championship of the 4 year old horses. He is performing well in the Stallion Competition, as a 4-years old stallion he performed loyal and received high points and a good comment from the judges in every round. As a 5 year old stallion Harley won the competition in Weert and was 4th in Zuidbroek, in the total ranking he became the 5th place. In 2007 he will compete in 1.30 m classes with rider D. van Tilburg.

His first foals were champions: Miss Harley became Dutch Champion of the NRPS Studbook and Dellaya became Reserve Champion of the NRPS studbook. The foal inspectors of the KWPN studbook made a promising foal report.
