This amazing picture was captured by Bob Coglianes and would win the 1980 Eclipse Award in photography. Golden Derby was ridden by jockey Darrell McHargue, led wire-to-wire for a neck victory over Great Prospector, who was ridden by jockey Jorge Velasquez.
