Christopher pious was born April 15, 1967, at Nogent-sur-Marne. He discovered his passion for the horse to camp. In 1981, he joined the Technical School of Maisons Laffitte. He obtained his license as a jockey in 1984 and begins at the coach Henri Lalanne, in Dordogne, for which he won his first victory on the flat, in Libourne, 26 May 1985 .
