Godolphin Stud was founded in 1992, and is named in honour of the Godolphin Arabian who was so influential for modern thoroughbred breeding. Horses owned by Godolphin stud have won over 5,000 races. It is estimated stallions owned by Godolphin are valued around $157 million with horses in training valued around $55 million and brood mares and young horses valued around $135 million.
