Günter Seidel
Bronze medallist. Seidel was born in Germany where he started horse riding. Even before he launched himself in equestrian competitions, he worked as a riding instructor and trainer of dressage horses. After a visit to California in 1985 he settled permanently there and became an American citizen.
With three Olympic appearances for the United States each Seidel won bronze in the dressage team: 1996 on Graf George, 2000 on Foltaire and 2004 to Aragon. He also took part in all three games in the dressage individual competition, his best finish here was an eighth place 1996th He also won team silver at the 1995 Pan American Games and the World Equestrian Games 2002
