Great news from Nikki & Karli Terracall. Haddon Park Topaze Rose won her mare class and then was awarded Reserve Champion Mare at SA All Welsh. She is also going well under saddle and loves the working Hunter classes.
We sadly lost our beautiful boy Haddon Park Hyjinks while under anaesthetic in October ( We will miss you our gorgeous boy).
Our 2 year old gelding Haddon Park Time Warp was awarded Junior Champion Gelding then went on to receive Supreme Champion Gelding at the BACH Pony Pagaent. (pic pony Pagaent 20029)
Haddon Park Treasure was Supreme Champion Welsh Exhibit at Ballarat Agricultural Show a great effort from our baby.
Would also like to thank Chantelle Stocker for showing our ponies for us, you are doing a great job.

Fly Repellent For Horses
If you have been seeing small flies or gnats in your kitchen, theyre undoubtedly fruit flies. Fruit flies in the kitchen can be an issue all year round, yet are specifically typical throughout summer or fall since they are attracted to ripened or fermenting fruits and vegetables.
Stark Arabians
STARK ARABIANS Kommingerstrae 48a 6840 Gtzis - Vbg AUSTRIA
phone: + 43 552357543
STARK ARABIANS is specialized on the breeding of straight russian purebred arabians of great quality. The horses of Stark Arabians have enormous athletics, excellent performance-points and a great breed-type. No miracle that horses of this breeding program are very successfully in the western performance sport!
A sign for the stud farm is the dark chestnut stallion BAIKAL, who is 2-times Viennese Regional Champion pb arabian reining and who achieved further top placings in reining as well. Baikal now continues his performance career now under his new owner Markus Dnser.......
Amongst the valuable broodmares of STARK ARABIANS one can find numerous show champions and excellent producers.
STARK ARABIANS has most of the time horses in professional training and let them be shown on performance shows. Most of the time the stud farm has several well ridden arabians available for purchase - from leisure time horses up to competition horses.
Due to their very valuable pedigree most horses are also highly interesting for breeding, not at least because the russian bloodlines are noted for their extreme athletics ....... Vanadin
Further the stud stands 2 excellent straight russian stallions for breeding: Kubay Khan and Vanadin.
KUBAY KHAN was leased to The Netherlands, there he became champion of the stallion licencing and he produced some very good foals, from which some had been very successfully at shows. Kubay Khan is a son of the Multichampions KUBINEC (by Balaton).
VANADIN is a strong bodied, beautiful bay with a very typey head and immensely strong movements. Due to his correct and atheltic body and his strong hindquarters he is perfect as sire of future performance champions. His first foals confirm his enormous qualities as producer! Vanadin continues the blood of VYMPEL, his mother Minerva was one of the typiest daughters of NEGRECO.
Horse Myth 1: You cannot guide a horse with your knees. To start with, there`s a quarter inch of leather, then there`s the cinch and buckles, and finally, the horse doesn`t know what the heck you`re doing anyway. I`ve turned out, this is the correct term for a horse that you`ve started, worked with for two to three years, and wound up with a finished product that is ready to go out and win. I`ve turned out roping, cutting, and reining horses. I`ve also turned out and ridden race horses into the winners circle. If you want one of these horses to go left, I assume you`re supposed to press the right knee, and they did turn left, they`re going to leave you off out at the right with your head stuck in the ground.
What type of fence do you recommend for keeping horses?
What type of fence do you use to keep your horses safely on your property? What types of fence would you recommend and why. Lastly, I would have to buy a lot of it. So what fence has great quality and is also cost effective? Thank you all in advance =).
i have a friend who has several temporary pastures and puts up wire fences with removable wooden poles, but her usual pasture is wooden poles with wooden planks and an electric fence running along the top pole. (she has to buy things out of her own pocket, so it wasnt too expensive)
I just did this for my stable skills assignment at college and I found that post and wire fencing is the cheapest but it can be dangerous if the gaps are not wide enough as the horse can get its leg stuck. It should always be plain though - not barbed. Its good because its not an eyesore on surrounding areas. Post and rail are the most expensive and the most visually offensive but theyre easy to maintain and as long as theyre checked reguarly are usually the least dangerous. Electric fencing is also expensive but is probably the best at keeping horses in.
Ive got post and rail. I feel any sort of wiring could endanger my horse if he gets stuck. The only wiring I have is on top of the rail itself and its electric. How much you buy depends on how big the paddock. As for cost, post and rail tend to be more expensive than post and wire.
missouri horse property It is always wise to have periodic fecal egg counts done on all horses. That way you know if your worming program is truly working. To do this collect a freah sample of manure in a zip-lock baggie and bring it to your Vet. They will do the count and let you know if there are any eggs and of what type of worm.
