Donnerhall
One of the most impressive dressage sires of the century, standing at 16.3 hands with such a rich chestnut coat. He was well known for his ability for dressage and rideability. Donnerhall died in 2002, but not before leaving a long line of heritage, one of the most popular being Don Frederico.

When he was younger he came second out of a field of 70 stallions at a Stallion Performance Test, with a score of 131.92.
He has no less than 16 spouse contending at a universal level, double the amount of any other noticeable sires.
He has the highest dressage rearing worth record of all stallions (271).
Having bred 77 endorsed stallions and around 84 state premium female horses he was certainly in demand for breeding.
Donnerhall however was not just a brilliant reproducing stallion, he also had a solid career in the dressage ring, and with Karin Rehbein aboard he won around 30 Universal Fabulous Prix, Excellent Prix Unique and free form classes. After many years at the top of global dressage he retired in 1998.
Many of Donnerhall`s offspring did not really inherit his looks, it was more so rideability and brilliant demeanor. He was known to cross well with Pik Bube and lighter sort pure-blood females, with the best Pik Bube cross said to be Don Schufro.
It was always found strange that Donnerhall was such an outstanding breeder, as his sire Donnerwetter never had another steed that was anything like Donnerhall.
