Dominic Webb
Dominic came to Holly Tree for Riding lessons in 2007. He became a pupil of Carina Robinson, his natural talent for riding became apparent very quickly. Dom`s parents bought his first Pony Champagne for Xmas 2007. During 2008 Dom started competing at Manor Farm and Pony Club. His first big competition was in Llandudno at his school where he competed Carina’s horse Delana which he now loans. In August Dom took Champagne to Pony Camp for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the experience and won prizes.
As weeks went by it became apparent that Dom had a natural talent for Show Jumping. He has courage and the desire to succeed. Eddie Robinson at Holly Tree asked Dave Quigley who is an Irish International Show Jumper to assess Dom’s capability to make a career out of competitive show jumping. Dave was excited by Dom’s talent and commitment so he agreed to become his show jumping coach. Training is now split between Carina who trains Dom in his flatwork at Holly Tree and Dave who trains him in show jumping at Whitchurch. Dave Quigley and the Robinson family support Dom when he competes at shows. There has been remarkable progress since training started in September 08.
Dominic’s parents have been extremely supportive and puchased 3 horses for Dom. His first horses Talusha and Arola arrived in October and on 2nd November 2008 he entered his first major competition at Southview and out of 72 competitors he won it! In January 09 Ultimate Joop arrived and Dom is now getting to know him.
Dom took part in BSJA events in 2008 and achieved really good results for a newcomer. He has competed in the Dehesa Montenmedio in Vejer de la Fontera, Cadiz, Spain where he was placed 3rd on Ultimate Joop in the first competition winning a glass trophy and €42. He won three trophies during the Dehesa which for a newcomer is an excellent result. The next big competition for Dominic is Wales & West on 29th April 2009
Ease Of Use And Maximum Security With Gate Openers
Perhaps no other component of an electric gate system is more important than gate openers.
