Owner - Abigail Wexner | Cortes, ironically known as "Tiny" in the barn because of his huge build, joined our team in 2011. With his signature leg crossed style over the jumps, he`s won over legions of fans.
Winning results include the 2014 Longines King George V Gold Cup. At the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, Cortes was ridden in the "Final Four" competition, jumping four clear rounds and earning the "Best Horse" title, and Madden the bronze medal.
Cortes helped Team US towards a silver medal in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio before an injury sidelined him before the team final.
Cortes will retire from competition and spend his retirement at home in Cazenovia, New York.
