Corland

Grey stallion who spent many years standing at the legendary VDL Stud in Holland, a proven showjumper Corland competed internationally and has also sired many outstanding offspring. Corland is a son of Cor de la Bryere who is one of the all time great breeding stallions.

Like Cancun, Corland also won his performance test but in Denmark. Corland comes from one of Holstein`s best performance families which goes back to the famous Retina, twice winner of the Hamburg Derby.

One full sister to Corland, BB Corlanda, jumps at international level with Willy Mellinger. Another won the Holstein mare test. Landetto, a full brother to Corland`s dam, is also jumping at international level

Corlands international career is also very successful. In Oslo, he won 2nd, 3rd and 4th in different Grand Prix. In Helsinki, he was 6th in the Grand Prix, 2nd in the Benelux Championship, 5th Grand Prix of Bordeaux, 4th Grand Prix in Den Bosch, 2nd in the Sires of the World in Lanaken, 7th Grand Prix of Maastricht, 7th Grand Prix inZuidlaren, and 2nd Grand Prix in The Hague. In the Grand Prix ofRotterdam, he finished 2nd by a hundredth of a second behind the phenomenal E.T. with Hugo Simon.

In his first breeding year, his son Pacific was immediately approved and became Champion of the Stallion Test. His daughter Pendence scored 87 points for her mare test. This was the highest score of the whole last year.

Sire Cancun VDL :- Producing this lovely horse VDL Cancun starting this 2006 season with 4 y`old showjumping classes. He was the winner of his German performance test before coming to Ireland, showing both his quality in jumping and dressage.

White Wishes M - Sire Corland had an impressive career in international show jumping under Wout Jan van der Schans. The high point was the European Championships in Arnhem in 2001 where Corland, up to the very last day, led the rankings. Via Olympic jumping champion Jus de Pommes (Ulrich Kirchhoff) and progenitor of movement Flemmingh, the dam line goes back to the mare Godine. Just as the well-known international show jumper Optiebeurs Stability, Godine is a product of the combination Nimmerdor x Courville xx. Godine is also registered as dam to the SBS stallion Rebus G (Indorado).

Dam Larisse (Hattrick) is a half sister of the well-known international show jumper Heartbreaker (Nimmerdor) with which Peter Geerink reached fourth place in the prestigious Grand Prix of Aachen. Larisse and Heartbreaker both stem from the mare Bacarole (Silvano) of NL dam line 025. The dam line goes back, via Uppercut xx, to the famous El Gaucho daughter Cleopatra. This mare is also the basis for the well-known international show jumpers Wendela (Purioso), Ami d�Or (Almox Prints) and Heros (Jasper).

Dam Mona Lisa goes back to the world-famous performance mare Oberlina through Goodtimes, Boreas and the showjumper sire Rigoletto. This Farn daughter is known as the dam of the stallion Focus (Pele) and the international showjumping horses Andretti (Ramiro Z) and Eros (Pele). The international showjumpers Kwidanta (Quidam de Revel) and Kastello (Concorde) also go straight back to Oberlina. The well-known international show jumpers Queen of Daimonds (Rigoletto) and Iris (Libero H) also come from this line.
