Christa Laarakkers

Christa Laarakkers is a Dutch dressage rider who along with her husband Sjak Laarakkers run together a dressage stable yard in Winschoten. As a succesful dressage rider and trainer she is also the coach of the Dutch pony dressage team. Christa Laarakkers has over 14 year expereince at the top of the sport and has ridden over 15 horse in Prix St George and 4 at the highest level in grand prix competitions

Christa managed to get the highest level, with Luzelma Slottie, Christa achieved a national title in the Light Tour. In addition to her own career, Christa also gives a lot of training and she has been teaching the national A and B framework of pony dressage sports since August 2006. With this team of pony riders, she achieved her first successes in 2007. The team won a silver medal, and individually the Dutch riders ended in fourth, fifth and sixth place.

With Ovation, Christa is currently active in international dressage sports. In Brno (Czech Republic), Miercezin (Poland) and in Addington (UK), Christa won the Grand Prix with Ovation. Christa is also doing good business at home, during the NIC Zuidlaren 2008, Pays-Bas NL knows to win the Prix St. George.
