Tom is homozygous for black pigment, and will never sire a sorrel foal. The majority of Tom`s foals will be blue roan, bay roan, black, and bay, but all will have genetically black legs. His sire is an own son of the legendary rodeo horse Blue Valentine. His dam is also a grand-daughter of the famous horse, as well.
