RCR-Newton is a covenanted country community located near the foothills of the Wet Mountains directly to the west of Pueblo, Colorado.
The main entrance to the "Ranch" is on Colorado Scenic Highway 96, about 10 miles from the turnoff into Lake Pueblo State Park with its boat docks, fishing areas, and hiking/bike paths.
Our views are gorgeous and expansive with Pikes Peak to the north, Lake Pueblo to the east, the Spanish Peaks to the south, the Wet Mountains to the west, and far to the north west the snowy tops of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains behind Canon City.
At night, in the distance, we see the sparkling lights of Pueblo, Pueblo West, Penrose, and Canon City. Above, our night skies are alive with stars including the swirl of the Milky Way.
Our area has a wide variety of wildlife including, pronghorn antelope, elk, deer, coyote, fox, bobcat, road runners, hawks, eagles, owls, humming birds, bluebirds, and numerous song birds.
Residents who enjoy riding their horses, or hiking with their dogs, have thousands of acres of rolling grassland, forests of pinon and juniper, bluffs, draws and small canyons to explore.
This website is a source of general information about Red Creek Ranch-Newton. Please enjoy our photo album and some of our past newsletters. Contact information for our Board of Directors and a copy of our Declaration of Covenants are also available. Please click the links near the top of this page to learn more about us.
Happy Trails!
