Brantome
Born in 1931 Brantome was unbeaten on the race track as a two year old and a three year old, Brantome was sired by Blandford out of the mare Vitamine who is a daughter of Clarissimus. After a racing career of 14 race of which Brantome won 12, he then became a stallion at stud and produced many successful race horses, his bloodline was also used by numerous studbooks to breed sport horses for showjumping.
